One of these days I will figure out that every time I knit in the sun- I get funky sunburn.

In order to steal myself a little knitting time today, I took the kids to a model airplane air show. Not knowing we would stay so long, I neglected to bring the sun screen. Whoops. I now have a burned left arm, burned right forearm, and burned right thigh. The rest of me is still pasty pale. Lovely!

Off to the Drive-In tonight. I'm going to practice knitting by touch during the two movies 'Surf's Up' and 'Evan Almighty'. It was either knitting by touch or using a light to knit. Anyone who has ever been to Bengie's Drive-In knows that the bug element demands the lights go out. I can't wait to spray the DEET all over my sunburn. Auuggghhh!
